If you are experiencing a problem that is not documented on this site, please e-mail software support .  Please provide the following information:

1. What software and version (Help menu, click on About).
2. What steps need to be performed to recreate the problem?  (Document what you clicked on and what you input).
3. What is the exact error message or problem?
4. Attach any files (templates, design, etc.) that you are using.

Pfaff VIP Customizing

The Pfaff Customizing software enables transfer to the memory built-in into the Pfaff 2140 models.  For 7570, 60 owners, if you do not have the PC-Designer software cable, you will need to purchase a special cable to send files to your sewing machine. 

Additional fonts and shapes are available by downloading from at http://www.pfaffsoftware.com/support.updates.htm . There are four updates to fonts, and one update file for shapes. 

An update to File Assistant, version 6.3 is available at http://www.pfaffsoftware.com/support.updates.htm . 

The VIP Configure 6.21 - supports COM ports 3 and 4.   If your computer's COM port that you use to connect the machine cable to is 3 or 4, you need to install this update.  Otherwise, if the COM port is 1 or 2, you do not need to install this update.  http://www.pfaffsoftware.com/index.htm

If the software will not open with an error regarding the download, download and install the latest version of the driver at www.rainbow.com.

3D Viewer DLL version 2.0 - Updated 3D viewer for use in with all VIP programs.  The draw speed has been increased.  It uses the different technology, which will allow graphics accelerators on most Graphic cards to be used at the maximum setting.

An update to version 6.2 is available at http://www.pfaffsoftware.com/support.updates.htm .  The 2nd file named "6.2 help" contains an updated help file, samples and user guide in .PDF format.  The 3rd file contains tutorials showing the new features.

1. Configure the software (do one time unless your computer or configuration changes).
